FESTIVAL CONTINUES TO SHARE THE HERITAGE

Dear Community:
On behalf of the Portuguese Festival Committee we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who joined us in Provincetown for the annual Portuguese Festival!
Planning for the 2025 Festival is already underway as we prepare to Share The Heritage and celebrate the 29th Festival and 78th Blessing of the Fleet. Of course there will be
all the music, dancing, food and fun the Festival is known for along with some new surprises.
As always, we will honor our Portuguese heritage and fishing traditions capped off by the annual Fishermen’s Mass followed by the Blessing of the Fleet.
Selections for the 2025 Festival Painting will be announced in the future and of course we will feature that amazing work at the Red Inn event, on the cover of our Festival
Booklet and on our commemorative shirts.
Once again we are grateful for the support of our amazing team of volunteers, the wonderful community of Provincetown and all who join us on Festival Weekend.

The Provincetown Portuguese Festival & Blessing of the Fleet attracts visitors from all
over the world who gather to celebrate Portuguese culture and heritage.
The event features live music, dancing, delicious food, games, and lots of mostly free
activities, so there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Festival Weekend culminates in the Blessing of the Fleet, where boats adorned in
their finest gather to receive blessings for a safe and prosperous year ahead.
We welcome you to share our heritage from June 27th - June 29th, 2025.
